Andalusia Technology Park will present the “Zero-Hytechpark” at INMOenergética
Andalusia Technology Park will present the ‘Zero-Hytechpark’ European project at ‘INMOenergética’, the first Energy Efficiency in Buildings Fair, which will be held in Malaga at the end of October.
The purpose of the initiative is to erect a building that does not emit any carbon dioxide thanks to the hydrogen-based technology, and to turn technology parks into an instrument of regional development.
Walqa Technology Park in Huesca, and Vizcaya Technology Park, coordinated by the Hydrogen Foundation, are also taking part in a project with a budget of almost 1.4 million euros, and which is expected to end at the end of 2013. After the development of energy systems which meet the requirements of buildings and of solutions for “green” mobility in the Huesca technopole, the results will be exported to other technology parks.
The Deputy Director of Technology Transfer and International Relations of Andalusia Technology Park, Sonia Palomo, announced yesterday during the presentation of this fair, which took place at the Science and Technology Centre of the Malaga trade fair complex, that this park would participate in it. The director of the Trade Fair and General Services Section of FYCMA, Rafael de la Paz, also participated in the presentation, and answered the questions of the attending companies The head of the Industry, Energy and Mining Section of the Provincial Office of Economy, Science and Business of the Government of the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, Juan Manuel Jiménez, explained the institution’s regional policy for the sector of Renewable Energies and Construction.
The Malaga Exhibition and Conference Centre (FYCMA) will host the trade fair from 21 to 22 October. It will coincide with the Mediterranean Property Fair (SIMed), and with the Solar Energy Forum (InmoSolar), two events which attract around 20,000 visitors on average. The event will help professionals from companies and public institutions to delve deeper into the possibilities of integrating alternative energies in buildings, and the ways to increase their energy efficiency. The fair will have an exhibition area, it will host several technical conferences, and it will provide an array of parallel activities.
